Oleksandr Zinchenko is apparently the subject of negotiations between Manchester City and Arsenal.
According to reports, talks between Manchester City and Arsenal over a prospective transfer for Oleksandr Zinchenko have begun.
The 25-year-old international from Ukraine has been a consistent member of Pep Guardiola's starting lineup since 2017.
Although he has four Premier League medals to his name during that time, he hasn't been able to establish himself as the Blues' permanent starting position.
Zinchenko, while being a midfielder for his country, has spent the majority of his time for City at left-back, where he has excelled.
He is rumoured to be willing to moving if it means he can play in his preferred position and for greater playing time.
It's believed that Arsenal has yet to match their asking price, City is allegedly open to selling the player they acquired in 2016 for for £1.7 million.
City has their sights set on Marc Cucurella, and should they decide to let Zinchenko go, the Blues will probably step up their efforts to sign him.
Zinchenko is a very well-liked player and a huge fan favourite on the City team.
