Travis Barker Speaks Out Regarding His Medical Scare And “Life-Threatening” Hospitalization

After a recent medical crisis, Travis Barker is recovering.

On June 28, the lead singer of Blink-182 was accompanied by his wife Kourtney Kardashian as he was transported to a hospital in Los Angeles by ambulance. Travis updated his followers on his health on July 2 following his medical emergency.

Travis Barker Hospitalization

“I felt wonderful going in for an endoscopy on Monday. But after supper, I started to experience tremendous pain, and I’ve been in the hospital ever since,” he shared on his Instagram Story.” I had a very small polyp removed during the endoscopy that was immediately in a very sensitive area that is usually handled by specialists.”. Unfortunately, this caused an important pancreatic drainage tube to be damaged. This caused severe pancreatitis that was potentially fatal.

Barker’s wife Kourtney Kardashian was at his side when he was admitted to the hospital on Monday night. Later, the star of “The Kardashians” posted a statement on her Instagram Story. Oh, what a tense and difficult week this has been. We frequently disregard how quickly it can change and how important our health is, she tweeted on Saturday. Travis and I both underwent a route endoscopy, and as a result, Travis developed severe, potentially fatal pancreatitis.

The mother of three then expressed her gratitude to the audience for the outpouring of support at this trying time. After that, Kardashian expressed her gratitude to Barker’s medical staff for “taking such excellent care of my hubby and me during our stay.”

“Thank you, God, I love you, God,” she added after sharing her husband’s statement.

Alabama Barker, 16, whose mother is Shanna Moakler, posted to social media a few hours after Travis was spotted being brought to the hospital to beg for followers’ prayers for him. Unfortunately, Landon Barker, Alabama’s older brother, was unable to join Alabama at her father’s side. At Madison Square Garden in New York City, the 18-year-old joined Machine Gun Kelly on stage for their song, “Die in California.” His dad frequently works with Machine Gun Kelly, who is also a personal friend.

Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, with whom he has two children, released a statement earlier this week, thanking “everyone who has reached out with concern. I am confident that he is in excellent hands, supported by caring loved ones, the greatest medical staff, and his stunning wife Kourtney.

For the horrifying record, this wasn’t Travis’ first stay in a serious hospital. He survived a private plane disaster in 2008 that killed four people and left him with 65 percent of his body covered in third-degree burns. Travis underwent 26 procedures while spending three months in the hospital.

Travis didn’t fly again after the accident until Kourtney took him on a trip to Mexico in August of last year. Since then, the two have taken multiple flights together, including their wedding day in May. We’re happy he was able to recover then, and we’re happy he appears to be recovering now.
