Amazon Prime Video announced that it had partnered with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for his action web series Indian Police Force. Shetty directed and produced the project, which stars Sidharth Malhotra, who will portray a Delhi Police officer in the series. The show’s first-look teaser has also been released.
For his new cop-based action drama web series, Rohit is teaming up with youthful and dashing Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, marking the actor-director duo’s digital debut.

Sidharth Malhotra is slated to make his digital debut in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Indian Police Force. The series’ first look was released today, April 20. On Tuesday, April 19, Sidharth Malhotra made the official news that he would be joining Shetty’s Cop Universe. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty makes his digital debut with the eight-part high-octane action series.
According to reports, Vicky Kaushal and Tiger Shroff were among the top contenders for the lead part in the series, but Sidharth was ultimately chosen.

The makers of Rohit Shetty’s cop drama, Indian Police Force, released the first teaser on Wednesday(20/4/2022) morning.
While Rohit was on-site testing the automobile and weaponry, Shetty’s team was seen putting together the Amazon Prime Video show. As the clip nears its conclusion, Malhotra appears, walking in slow motion as an explosion goes off. There isn’t much else known about the web series other than Sidharth’s character’s name, Kabir Malik, and the fact that Rohit would focus on the Delhi Police this time rather than the Mumbai or Maharashtra police forces.

They stated that with a global release, audiences in 240 countries and territories will be able to immerse themselves in an immersive cop universe story originating in India and steeped in Indian values.
Shetty, who is best known for films like Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, which established the cinematic cop universe, said he has been working in Indian Police Force Series for a long time.
“I’m ecstatic to be working with Amazon Prime Video to bring this tale to life,” the 49-year-old filmmaker said in a statement. “This story will transcend geographical and linguistic barriers, giving me the opportunity to expose it to people throughout the world.”
